To ensure that Portal Constructor performs in an optimum way in SEO terms we elected to recruit one of the leading SEO agencies in London, to act as a consultant during our recent software upgrade work, in the redevelopment of the content management system.

This resulted in significant upgrades to the metadata module system that sits behind the site, our approach to header and footer deployment, a new development approach to the url rewriter within the CMS and a number of other key aspects of the system structure.

In short, this has meant that Portal Constructor remains at the cutting edge of CMS technology, in terms of being SEO friendly. We will carry out all the basic work required to give the SPP a solid platform in terms of SEO effectiveness. However, truly effective SEO capability requires an ongoing focus in activity.
